1. Click on the This PC Icon to open up your windows explorer.
2. Navigate to the C drive and right click on the Icon. When the following menu is displayed please select the Properties option.
3. We will now head back to the C drive Properties menu were we will select the Tools option.
4. The following menu will then appear.
5. We now select both option for Optimise and defragment drive and Error Checking.
6. Firstly we will be working on Optimize drives menu. On the following menu we will be selecting the drive we would like to optimize and the select the Optimize option. Once the optimization has been completed we can close the window. This works similarly for HDD as we can select the drive we would like to de-fragment and then select that option.
7. On the Error checking menu, we will simply be selecting the Scan drive option and then allowing the process to complete.
8. Once completed we can simply select the Close option that will close the window and the close the C Drive properties menu.
