At Time Microsoft Teams will lose functionality or at worse not allow you to login with your credentials. When this occurs a Microsoft Teams cache clear is widely recommended. Thus we will now be showing you exactly how to perform this cache clear.
1. Firstly, you will need to close your Microsoft Teams application. This can be done by select the X at the top right hand corner of the application.
2. It is important to also ensure that Teams is completely closed and not minimized to the system tray. This can be done by selecting the up arrow in the right hand corner of the screen, right click on the Microsoft Teams Icon and select the "Quit" option. Microsoft Teams will now be completely closed.
3. Now we can open the Run application by pressing the windows key + R.
4. Once open please copy and paste the following in the dialog box: %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams
5. This will now open a folder location. You can now delete all the files/folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory as shown below.
6. Once completed please open Microsoft Teams once more and sign in with your credentials if prompted.
