How to compact the SAMS Database if it grows to abnormal size:
- Open your relevant database folder in which the database resides in and double click on the SAMS Database .mdb File
- Enter the SAMS database password
- Once in the database click on the Database Tools option on the toolbar
- Click on Compact and Repair
- The repair process will now start
- Once completed (bottom right) you can close Access and the database and verify that the size has reduced
