1. At time OneDrive may not sync all files properly or struggle to open and sync files from various different PC. To resolve this error a OneDrive reset/resycn and cache clear is recommended.
2. Please note that the following setting need to be unchecked within OneDrive settings as else Onedrive wil remove files that are not locally synced to the PC causing confusion and a loss of data for the time that the resync is being completed.
3. To perform the reset/ resync please do the following. Please press the windows key + R to open the Run application. As shown below.
4. Please copy and paste the following command in the dailog box of the Run application:
%localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset
5. Please note that if the application give the an error message relating to "Windows cannot find the application" the following command can be run based on the Onedrive application location:
(64-bit) - C:\Program Files\Microsoft OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset
(32-bit) - C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset
6. OneDrive will then close and be reset. You will then need to open OneDrive once more by pressing the windows key + s and typing Onedrive in the search box as shown below. Click on the application to open OneDrive once more and Onedrive will start to resync all your files and folders.
